This is undoubtedly the best system I've found on C2 ever. For this reason, the number of subscribers is so high that sometimes the number of contracts traded exceeds a thousand, and this can generate two problems: the actual execution price can deviate significantly from the trigger price of the system, and such massive orders visible in the book can generate automated trading interventions and stop taking that can invalidate the system's moves. But this is not the fault of the system, of course.
This is a strategy for you IF you are OK with lower profit factor - meaning more frequent losers offset with big winner. I just got tired of all the red and occasional winner. And to cap it all off - C2 unreliability caused me to miss out on winners...Ugh. I digress about C2, and its lack of reliability.
Its rare to find a quant developer who is so transparent about how the algorithm is performing as is the author of ares. His attention to managing risk in the space of futures is exceptional! The stats for this algorithm are exceptional and speak for themselves. The algorithm has seen quite a few different regime changes of the last 5 years and navigated them extremely well. Out of all the algorithms at Collective2, this is my favorite.
Tight stops are in place usually running at 1% of each trade. Risk management is one of the best on Collective 2. The strategy manager uses an automated approach which reduces the tendency to overtrade and trade excessively. In my opinion this strategy has the best risk management on Collective 2.
I highly recommend this strategy due the automation, tight stops and excellent risk management.
Very disciplined, always places stoploss and limit closing orders, and always flat at the close (no overnight holds.) I have been with this strategy since January 2023 and am very satisfied.
Can't argue with the historical track record and statistics, so maybe it was bad timing on my part, but this strategy hit a serious losing streak in the middle of February.
