Reviews of Sage Volatility Margin

Sage Volatility Margin

Over the last 18+ months, I've lost 15%... Potentially worth holding onto longer term. Switched management shortly after I subscribed, which makes it difficult to continue holding (although the original manager is still in touch with the current manager, according to a conversation several months ago). Unsure whether it will ever return to its best years, but still seems to avoid massive losses ... Just not seeing the gains. Hmmmmmm..... I'm on the fence!

this is an excellent long term strategy , run by a very responsive real person investing his own money and making a success of it over years. surviving many years and thriving for most. good catastrophe hedging as well. most recommended

Historical returns are great and the use of hedging is brilliant. At this point, April 2019, it is in a slump. It's not clear to me what the reason for the slump is as S&P has been climbing for months. Maybe this is causing VIX to be too low or too stable for this style of trading?

It worked really well when the market was going up. David was able to capitalize on one big market crash in Feb 2018. However, the continued market vol has been crushing this strategy. It seems David's system doesn't handle anything but bull markets yet.

Sage Volatility Margin

The strategy has performed relatively well during the downturn and exceptional during the up market. The manager does a good job of money management/scaling in and out of positions. Clearly isn't trying to hit the home run to gather subscribers. I feel he is managing the fund to do well long term which is what most people are looking for.

Sage Volatility Margin

Well managed sophisticated approach to volatility. Will the options always prevent painful losses? I don't know...
